It’s been awhile since I did a sketch dump. I should probably also scan things more often so as not to make huge dump posts lawl oh well.
(also I am so glad I am reaching the end of this ratty sketchbook- hopefully I can do it before the front cover falls off too? XD)

Didn’t cha know, I’m chilling on Cape Cod right now, where the seafood is awesome (but the internet is slowwwwww).
Me and my friend Bob have the habit of drawing on the back of placemats while waiting for food. One day, fueled by a few pints, I created Liondragon.
The next day, well, it appears my characters decided to have a little chat with me about what their favorite seafood plates were.
- Alex is the Northwesterner where Oysters are popular, and they have decent (but not like New England) clam chowder.
- Ryusho is Japanese, so, yeah, seafood for him is vastly different (mmm eel…)
- K…well…he’s not much of an eater, and is picky.
- And Matt hung out around too much in pubs on both sides of the pond and really likes fish and chips.

This is why I’ve been somewhat quiet lately. Fucking backgrounds in comic panels zapping all my creative energy. And as much as I’d like to skip them then the panels would look rather empty????
I SWEAR THESE THINGS WILL BECOME EASIER ONE DAY????? (and until then I will continue to deinflate my stress by ranting doodles???)

I really think Carl is such a cutie in The Walking Dead.
After watching all the series + comics I couldn’t help but spew out something lawl. Had fun playing around with textures and also with the feeling of ‘grime’ that this series gives off. Also muted, earthy tones because Rick and Carl like, remind me of cowboys…somehow XD
(This totally took way longer than what I had been wanting to spend on it though ugh back to comic now)
